The National Chamber of Exporters (NCE), the only private sector chamber which exclusively serves Sri Lankan Exporters, has entered into a Strategic Partnership with SANKEN Overseas Pvt. Ltd., related to a premium sponsorship of the prestigious flagship event of the chamber; the Annual Export Awards 2019, which would be conducted on September 20, at the Shangri-La Hotel in Colombo. This event which recognizes and rewards the achievements of the Sri Lankan Exporters in the international market place covering both products and services, is an event of National significance, looked forward by the exporter community in Sri Lanka.
The strategic partnership entered into between the NCE and SANKEN Overseas PVT. Ltd., in July, 2019, would be valid for a period of one year, renewable thereafter with mutual consent between the partners to the Agreement. As a leading member exporter of the Chamber, in an important non-traditional field of exports related to the construction sector, ‘SANKEN’ has successfully executed several international construction projects, achieving recognition in international markets. Further, SANKEN Overseas PVT. Ltd., has come on board on several previous occasions to partner and support the activities of the chamber as a sponsor. SANKEN Overseas Pvt. Ltd., has also been an award winner on more than one occasion at the prestigious Annual Export Awards event of the chamber.
