Training Program
Assistance to obtain ISO 22000/HACCP, SA8000 and related certifications under UNIDO supported project
UNIDO has selected the NCE as one of two private sector chambers under a project to equip the two chambers to grant ISO 22000/HACCP, SA8000 and related certifications to export enterprises in a transparent, efficient and competitive manner.
A separate legal entity of the two chambers called IndExpo (Pvt) Ltd has been incorporated for this purpose. IndExpo will be accredited to issue certificates on its own at the end of the project period. Until such time certificates will be provided through an international accredited body.
Project activities related to training and capacity building has already commenced.
The Chamber conducts training programs on export related topics, by eminent resource persons in the respective fields. They are open to members as well as non-members on payment of the applicable fee. Members are given priority in selection for the programs and are also entitled to lower participation fees.
